For the sixth year in a row, the Craft Beverage Marketing Awards (CBMAs), founded by The EGC Group, stood out in honoring the best marketing efforts in the craft beverage industry throughout the world. Step Forward, Craft Beverage Marketing Professionals How far-reaching is the CBMAs? For starters, this is the only global competition that recognizes the professionals who may not brew or bottle the liquid but help to sell it. This year’s ceremony enlisted the help of 250 craft beverage professionals who served as judges. These judges presented a grand total of 120 “Crushies”—the official trophy of the CBMAs. The CBMAs are More Than Just Craft Beer In the history of the CBMAs, 2025 proved to be a milestone year. The number of the categories, for example, were expanded. Earlier presentations focused solely on craft beer. This year, recognition was given to marketing collateral for non-alcoholic craft beer, “ready-to-drink cocktails,” cider and mead, THC-infused beverages, and hard seltzers. As Jackie Curry, co-founder of the CBMAs stated: “We started the CBMAs to spotlight the incredible creativity happening behind the scenes in the craft beverage world—and it’s been amazing to watch the program grow year after year. This year’s expansion across more beverage types shows just how much this community values, and needs, strong marketing, and design.” Watch Jackie’s intro to this year’s Craft Beer Marketing Awards, along with a rundown of the categories.
