The awards keep coming to The EGC Group, which just won ‘Best Short-Form Video Content’ at the Fair Media Council Folio Awards. The Fair Media Council is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to media accountability, media literacy—and keeping local news local. Each year, the Fair Media Council Awards host an awards presentation to honor the best news and media achievements in the greater New York metro area. On Thursday, June 12, EGC was honored as one of this year’s winners. EGC won the ‘Best Short-Form Video Content’ award for helping to elevate client Jovia Financial Credit Union’s social media presence. The goal of this video campaign was to connect Jovia with younger audiences through engaging, educational short-form videos. These videos were posted to social medial platforms that included TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. EGC shared the strategy of this launch with TikTok and collaborated with local and national influencers. Together, they created and presented relatable lifestyle content, giveaways, and financial advice to young people. The result? An increase in social media engagement that positioned Jovia as a trusted financial resource among this newer (and growing) audience. Thank you, Fair Media Council, for this honor!
