EGC was able to secure client Brother International Corporation in InStyle Magazine, focusing on the pandemic’s impact on interest in sewing machines.
Follow the journey of Sam Reed, who wanted to purchase a sewing machine – only to discover they were sold out at the JoAnn’s store near her. Then she learned they were sold out at every JoAnn’s. In her quest, she received insight and information from Doretta Caprarola, director of marketing at Brother, who noted that there was indeed a “fight” among those interested in purchasing a machine. Despite Brother’s year-over-year sales increase of approximately 30-percent, Brother-related categories have increased from 60-to-80 percent.
