EGC Group Wins Big at EduADAWARDS
April 20, 2018 (MELVILLE, NY) – EGC Group is proud to announce the agency won six Gold Awards from the 33rd Annual Educational Advertising Awards (EduADAWARDS) for the Agency’s work on Vaughn College’s “Be Futureproof” campaign. Awards are given to those entrants whose programs and materials display exceptional quality, creativity and message effectiveness.

The “Be Futureproof” campaign was born out of the creative collaboration between EGC and the team at Vaughn College and focuses on students speaking directly to their future, stating that they’re in charge of their life and the education obtained at Vaughn will launch them into a “futureproof” career.
The campaign is not only supported by the creative work and messaging, but by concrete stats: 97% of Vaughn students are employed or continue their education within one year of graduation, 82% within their own field. Vaughn College was recently ranked number one in Upward Mobility for moving students from the bottom 40% in income to the top 40% in income. Money Magazine ranked Vaughn College as a top college for your money.
The TV spot features current Vaughn students at the school immersed in their programs and fields of study, including engineering, technology, management and aviation. The entire campaign was created in a dynamic style, unique to each student’s individual story.
“Our idea was based on a concept that featured real students boldly challenging their future, because they know the education they will receive at Vaughn will help make them, and what became our tagline, be futureproof,” said Steve Biegel, Director of Copy & Content. “Vaughn College offers very specific majors and the executions needed to be done in the same, distinctive spirit as a true extension of their brand.”
In addition to the TV spot, EGC created subway posters, bus kings, a radio spot, as well as a full digital program featuring social media images, remarketing banners, print ads, email campaigns, and a landing page for potential students to register for the open house
EGC Group won Gold in the following categories for the campaign: Newspaper Series, Newspaper Single, Outdoor, Radio Single Spot, Television Single Spot, and Total Advertising Campaign.
