EGC and Vaughn Create a Virtual Open House
Twice a year, Vaughn College welcomes students who wish to pursue careers in engineering and technology, management and aviation to its Open House. Due to the pandemic of the COVID-19 coronavirus, Vaughn, like every other institution, had to change course for its planned Open House for the spring season. Enter the virtual tour.
The EGC Group worked diligently with Vaughn to create all the assets needed to present a state-of-the-art virtual tour. With the help of a specialized landing page, students can register for the Open House, which features two sessions of academic programs and two sessions specifically for those interested in aviation maintenance. Visitors can also view the virtual tour and schedule a one-on-one Zoom meeting with admissions counselors. With the aid of drone technology, interested students will receive a near-cinematic experience of seeing the College’s observation tower, air traffic control lab, engineering lab, mechatronic systems lab, robotics team, and flight simulator complex.
Vaughn College’s Virtual Open House will be held on April 21 and 23 for academic sessions, and April 28 and 30 for Aviation Training Institute sessions. Additionally, for those not able to attend any of the events, Vaughn is recording all of the sessions and making them available on a landing page, which will be circulated after the last event. One-on-one Zoom meetings with admissions counselors can also be scheduled at any time.
It seems fitting that a college that uses cutting-edge technology should promote its resources through an equally cutting-edge virtual tour. This is further proof as to why the tagline for Vaughn College is “Be Futureproof—Guaranteed.”
