What exactly do you “do” at EGC?
A bit of everything. I’m responsible for the agency’s strategic direction and marketing activity, as well as managing client relationships and campaigns. I spend most of my time collaborating with clients, working to solve their problems. On top of that, I’m the team’s biggest fan; always cheering them on. I’m blessed to work with some talented and passionate individuals.
Describe your background:
I've spent a quite a bit of time at EGC, growing with the agency. Since joining, I’ve helped build brands like Mrs. Fields, Brother International, Sterling Optical, Cablevision and more. Early on though, I worked at several larger firms. It was a real eye-opener. I believe in the power of an agency of our size. We’re nimble, responsive, and dare I say smarter than our larger competitors.
Charity affiliations and organizations?
I currently serve as Marketing Chairperson for the Junior League of Long Island. I’m also Board Member of the ACIT and Farmingdale’s Visual Arts Department and involved with the NY Foundation for the Arts.
Sum up your marketing philosophy in 50 words or less
“The consumer is in charge”. That's the short version. Call me for the long one.
How do you delight clients every day?
Treating their business as if it’s mine, every day. Sundays too. I am fully vested in every EGC client; I share their good days and bad days.
How much of your life is spent online?
My laptop, iPhone and iPad are always open and active. I wish I had three hands. While most of that time is spent working, I’m a voracious reader. You can’t be in this business if you’re not a student of “everything.”
What is the most surprising fact about you?
Early on, I dreamed of being on the creative side of the business. When I was 10, I convinced a bagel shop to let me redo their logo. I sketched it in charcoal, and they paid me $500. To me it felt like $1 million and I still see the logo on trucks today.
What do you do for fun?
Spending time with my husband and childhood friends. And food is always involved. I love to explore restaurants and I’m in love with cooking. My specialty is lobster paella on the grill.
