The EGC Group is excited to announce that retail marketing expert Bob Phibbs has written the third of our five-part blog series, Advertising in Today's Economy: How To Emerge a Market Leader.
Mr. Phibbs has a lifetime of retail experience, starting his first job in retail at age 16. In 1994, he launched his consulting company, The Retail Doctor. His clients include an array of well-known retail brands, including Yamaha, Brother, LEGO and True Value.
In addition to owning a publishing firm, Mr. Phibbs has launched two successful businesses, including It's A Grind, the coffeehouse featured on Showtime's popular series, Weeds.
Mr. Phibbs is also the author of You Can Compete: Double Sales Without Discounting, which was honored with the 2004 Benjamin Franklin book publishing award for small business. His work has appeared on PBS' "Life and Times," as well as in The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.
As a very well-respected expert in marketing, Mr. Phibbs will be traveling to Cancun with the EGC team in October to speak to two of our retail clients about ways they can improve their sales.
