The EGC Team Expands and Evolves with Seven New Hires and Promotions

EGC has expanded its team of thinkers, drivers, and passionate marketers.

Each brings a core knowledge that enhances each client brand team, whether it be in "big idea" development, digital and social expertise, or account planning and project management.

John Murphy, Creative Director

John began his career as an account executive with Ogilvy & Mather, New York. At 25, he switched to creative and has not been seen in a necktie since. John brings a wealth of traditional and digital agency experience to the EGC Group. Prior agencies include Young & Rubicam, D'Arcy and JWT. He has worked on large consumer brands like AT&T, Pampers and KFC, as well as many public service campaigns including the Make-A-Wish Foundation. His international portfolio includes France Telecom, Philips Electronics and Royal Caribbean. John's work has been internationally recognized by Campaign magazine, AdWeek's Best, London International Advertising Awards, Gold EFFIE, New York Festivals and the Museum of Modern Art. He has also served as an Adjunct Professor at St. John's University. His favorite advice on writing comes from E.B. White, "omit needless words."

Jacquelyn Candelas, Web Developer

Jacquelyn is a passionate front-end web developer/designer with almost a decade of experience. Prior to EGC, Jackie worked for American Express Travel and Computer Associates. In 2010, she received an American Accolade Award for Most Innovative Web Site. Jackie is also a Twitaholic and has been listed on We Follow as one of LI's Top Most Influential People on Twitter. She rarely tears herself away from a computer, but when she does, she enjoys spending time with family, carving up the slopes on her snowboard, visiting exotic place, and blogging (there's that computer again!).

Charley Robinson, Art Director

Charley, our newest Art Director, hails from quiet, rural Pennsylvania, yet fits right into the insane mosh pit formally known as the EGC Creative Department. Charley eats, sleeps and breathes creativity and likes to keep his creative juices flowing at all times. That's a good thing, because we like to keep him working until all hours. When Charley is not doing cool concepts at EGC, he creates cool art and original music. He's also into sports – big time – and almost got picked for the NY Yankees. Talk about cool!

Jamie Roeser, Account Manager

Jamie is currently on her second tour at The EGC Group. Originally starting in 2005, Jamie has rejoined the team as an Account Manager after a three-year hiatus in Manhattan. She spent her time away working at a NYC Agency and explored the sites the city has to offer.

In her free time, Jamie enjoys rock shows and beer tastings. If you ever need a beer pairing for a meal, she's your girl!

Michelle Dwyer, Social Media Coordinator

Michelle is the social media coordinator here at The EGC Group. She graduated from Adelphi University with a degree in Business Administration and a specialization in Marketing. She actually discovered her passion for marketing, and everything social, right here when she interned in 2010. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, playing with her Bearded Collie, Cody, and catching up with her friends and family…on Facebook.

Kim Sivillo, Director of Client Services

Kim, recently promoted to EGC's Director of Client Services, joined EGC in 2007 after spending more than eight years working at several Boston and Manhattan-based agencies. Kim, who oversees many of the agency's largest accounts, has a strong background in managing integrated marketing programs for clients in the retail, financial services and pharmaceutical industries. When she is not at EGC, Kim enjoys cooking, cheering for the Red Sox and entering her adorable dog Luigi, in "cutest pet" competitions.

Stephanie Robedee, Marketing Coordinator

Stephanie started at EGC in 2007 as a Junior Art Director but recently moved to the Account side. Drawing on experiences from both sides of the marketing aisle gives Stephanie a unique perspective that both creative and account people truly appreciate. As one creative recently commented: "Wow, she can really write a brief!" When Stephanie isn't working, she's still working, as she's busily pursuing a Marketing MBA at CW Post College. But it's not all work. She still enjoys spending time with family, friends and her adorable Yorkie – Muffin, taking Zumba classes and keeping Starbucks in business.
