From site refreshes, to microsites to new site builds, EGC has been busy with web projects for dozens of clients. Check out just a few pieces of our work below, and see what is coming soon.
Brother International, Laura Ashley and PR-1000 microsites
EGC client Brother International knows that development of microsites is one way to provide customers with a more detailed look at their products and their uses. EGC stayed busy this summer developing two content-rich microsites to support two of Brother’s newest products.
Laura Ashley
Brother recently became the first hardware licensee of Laura Ashley, and for the Laura Ashley Limited Edition NX-2000 Sewing Machine, EGC developed a site that delivered the feeling to the end user that the machine can help impart a "touch of English in every stitch." To appeal to the Laura Ashley customer, the site uses rich imagery reminiscent of Laura Ashley branding, while integrating the machine into Laura Ashley-inspired room environments. Beyond the appeal of the Laura Ashley brand, the site delves into specific machine features, and also showcases the kind of beautiful home décor items that can be made with the machine.
To see how Brother can help you add a touch of English to all your creations, check out www.brother-usa.com/lauraashley. But be sure to check back again in early December, as Brother and Laura Ashley recently announced a new addition to their partnership. And, the site will soon be updated to incorporate videos of the NX-2000 and information about the new NX-800 Sewing Machine!
PR-1000
For Brother’s big summer product launch, EGC developed a media-rich microsite where customers can view 10 infomercial-like videos about the machine, as well as the launch 3D video. Key features of the machine are highlighted throughout the site, as are designs that can be made on the new multi-needle machine. Online banners, emails and print ads, all of which encourage customers to experience the next dimension in embroidery, drive to this site, which was designed in contrast to most other sewing and embroidery sites. A dark background with bright, vibrant colors helps deliver the feeling that the user has entered the "next dimension."

Association of Municipal Employees (AME)
When The Association of Municipal Employees (AME), the largest independent Union in Suffolk County (which represents more than 8,500 full and part-time municipal employees working for Suffolk County), needed a total re-vamp of their website to allow members to more easily find helpful information more easily (documents and event dates and times), they turned to EGC.
EGC was tasked with creating a user-friendly, easily navigable site—which, when the site is 150+ pages, can be difficult. EGC was also asked to bring the site into the 21st Century, as AME’s previous site was dated. In response, EGC developed a modern, professional, engaging site that allowed AME’s many member groups to find information more readily. A very robust member section with an overlay of public information was created, along with a calendar of events and video section. In the end, the site, which will launch soon, addresses the needs of both non-members and members in a friendly, easy to navigate site. See for yourself! www.scame.org
Huntington Medical Group
Huntington Medical Group, a local medical practice, received a website refresh with new and improved patient-friendly features. See it at www.hmgpc.com.

Check To HireSM, a product of CARCO Group, Inc.
When EGC client CARCO Group, Inc. was in need of help launching their latest product, a self-service online background check service for small to mid-sized companies, they turned straight to EGC. In addition to developing a marketing strategy and launch plan for the service, EGC helped CARCO develop a name for the product in addition to marketing materials and a dedicated product micro site to support the launch.
The microsite, which drives prospects directly to the Check To HireSM portal to sign up for service, is a content-rich site that helps differentiate Check To HireSM from quickie, often inaccurate, online background screening services. To convey the idea that an employment prospect’s entire history defines who they are today, EGC developed an intro Flash piece that uses dozens of photos representative of someone’s life—baby pictures, school photos, lifestyle shots—to develop a montage that ultimately builds out the profile of the employment prospect.
The site is due to launch soon; check www.checktohire.com to see it, and to consider CARCO’s services for your small to mid-sized business.
Island Sports Physical Therapy will launch a new website that delivers a better user experience to patients and prospects at www.islandsportspt.com.
In late November, Allied Pediatrics of New York will update their current site to have more warmth and personality at www.alliedpeds.com.
