New York Islanders

The New York Islanders NHL hockey team hired The EGC Group to help shed light on Season Ticketholders’ opinions about the team and the overall game experience.

EGC created a thorough online study that got to the root of what the Islanders wanted to know about their fans: what they like, what they don’t and how they feel about various aspects of the game experience.

Their answers helped EGC create a detailed profile of the typical Season Ticketholder. In addition, we were able to make recommendations about changes the Islanders would make to improve the fans’ experience and, therefore, increase ticket sales.
 
Best of all, EGC’s research enabled us to develop a new campaign for the 2008-2009 hockey season entitled, “You Want a Piece of Us” that included online, print and direct mail advertising.
