Nickname: Douglas
What exactly do you “do” at EGC?
I do what I’m told. But seriously, I try to push the boundaries of art direction. Then, I do what I'm told.
Before joining EGC, where did you work?
Grey, where I worked on just about everything, from running accounts ranging from high fashion, to slinging seafood, to helping consumers decide what kind of wine to drink or which health plan to sign up for.
Any career highlights you'd like to highlight?
Winning the RAC (Retail Ad Council) Award for almost ten years in a row. Also, hanging from a chopper with a 35mm movie camera shooting seaplane stunts over an exotic beach outside of Rio de Janeiro.
Why did you choose marketing as a career?
Probably because I can’t add or spell.
What do you do for fun?
I love the great outdoors. I give fish a chance to live another day, and I turn unsuspecting firewood into art.
What is the most surprising fact about you?
I took tap-dancing lessons- a skill that has served me well during difficult client presentations.
Do you have any secret talents?
That’s a secret.
