BES Embroidery Software

Because personalization with lettering and monogramming has become popular at high-end retailers, Brother International Corporation recently introduced an innovative, user-friendly embroidery lettering and monogramming software programs.  To help launch the BES® Embroidery Lettering Software, EGC was tasked with creating a package design for the software, as well as all marketing materials for dealers and consumers.

To generate consumer buzz, EGC created a pre-launch teaser print ad which resembled a “ransom” note and showcased various lettering styles available in BES.  The ad connected consumers to an interim microsite where they could opt-in to receive information.  For the actual launch, EGC created a sell sheet, as well as a full microsite, both which maintained the look of the packaging and helped build the product’s identity.  To highlight the top features, each piece uses screenshots from the software and photos of samples.

To support dealers and help them connect with consumers, EGC created customizable emails and ad slicks for them to use in their marketing materials, all in line with the product's brand identity.  Thanks in part to EGC's efforts, the launch was well received by retailers nationwide, and the product promises to be a leader in embroidery software.
